Ritam Labs vs Otterly

Otterly is a strong AI citation tracker across engines. It tells you whether ChatGPT cites you. It does not audit your site, and it cannot fix anything. Ritam Labs tests citations too, then diagnoses why, generates the fixes, and re-checks.

Honest take

When should you choose Otterly instead?

  • You only need ongoing multi-engine citation tracking today, including engines like Perplexity we don't test yet, and a full site audit isn't the priority.
  • You already have an SEO and fix workflow elsewhere and just want a dedicated citation-tracking layer on top of it.
  • You want a tool that's purpose-built and mature specifically for prompt and citation monitoring, not a broader audit platform.
Why Ritam Labs

When should you choose Ritam Labs?

  • You want to know not just whether AI cites you, but why, with a generated fix for each finding.
  • You need a full 15-dimension site audit (technical health, SEO, AEO/GEO, local, crawler access) alongside citation testing.
  • You're an agency and need white-label reports and a client portal, not just a tracking dashboard.
  • You'd rather pay $20/mo for the audit-to-fix loop than $29/mo (as of July 2026) for tracking alone.
Frequently asked questions

Is Ritam Labs a replacement for Otterly?

Not entirely. If ongoing multi-engine citation tracking is all you need, Otterly is a strong dedicated tool for that today. Ritam Labs tests citations too, on Gemini, GPT (ChatGPT) and Claude concurrently, then goes further: it audits your whole site, generates fixes, and re-checks whether they worked. We don't test Perplexity yet, and our own continuous multi-engine tracking is on the public roadmap, not live yet.

Does Ritam Labs track the same AI engines as Otterly?

Not exactly. Ritam Labs' AI Citation Score tests Gemini, GPT (ChatGPT) and Claude live today; Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek are coming soon. Otterly tracks a broader set of engines continuously, including Perplexity, on an ongoing basis (as of July 2026). Our own continuous multi-engine tracking, AI Share of Voice, is in development.

Which is cheaper, Ritam Labs or Otterly?

Ritam Labs starts at $20/mo (Pro) and includes a full site audit and fixes at that price, not tracking alone. Otterly's entry price is $29/mo as of July 2026; check Otterly's site for their current number, since competitor pricing changes.

Can I use Ritam Labs and Otterly together?

Yes. Some teams run Otterly for continuous multi-engine tracking and Ritam Labs for the audit, fixes, and white-label reporting. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
